Arab American Institute

Established in 1985 and based in Washington, DC, the Arab American Institute (AAI) is a non-profit, nonpartisan national leadership organization. AAI was created to nurture and encourage the direct participation of Arab Americans in political and civic life in the United States.

Critical Mixed Race Studies Association

Critical Mixed Race studies is the transracial, transdisciplinary, and transnational critical analysis of the institutionalization of social, cultural, and political orders based on dominant conceptions of race. CMRS emphasizes the mutability of race and the porosity of racial boundaries to critique processes of racialization and social stratification based on race. CMRS addresses local and global systemic injustice rooted in systems of racialization.

Middle East Institute

MEI’s mission is to increase knowledge of the Middle East among citizens of the United States and to promote a better understanding between the people of these two areas. The MEI Art Gallery will open Fall 2019 in Washington, D.C.
